Recent developments have emerged in the case of model and actress Humaira Asghar, whose body was found in a flat in Karachi’s Defence area. As the investigation unfolds, multiple revelations continue to surface.
According to sources, investigators have obtained details regarding Humaira Asghar’s bank accounts. She had a current account at a private bank (HBL) with a balance exceeding 398,000 PKR. Reports indicate that Humaira regularly withdrew amounts of either 25,000 or 50,000 PKR from ATMs, suggesting that she was not facing significant financial issues.
Furthermore, investigators have requested an examination of any additional bank accounts she may have held. Notably, the absence of jewellery from Humaira’s residence is a focal point of the investigation. The lack of cash and jewellery, combined with the disappearance of an Apple phone belonging to her, raises further questions.
It is important to note that Humaira Asghar’s body was discovered on July 8 in a rented flat located in Karachi’s Defence Housing Authority (DHA), where she had been living since 2018. According to police and preliminary autopsy reports, her body was approximately 10 months old, indicating that she likely passed away in the first week of October of the previous year.
